STEP UP
A leadership development resource offered by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ for high school youth who are in grades 9, 10 or 11. The STEP UP day-long workshop will introduce youth to college-level concepts of leadership and offer practical tips for developing a stronger personal plan for continuing to grow as a leader.
The workshop actively engaging students as they learn valuable skills and expand their vision for potential leadership possibilities.
You will receive a certificate of completion and students who complete the STEP UP Leadership event and attend Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be eligible to receive the Chaplains Leadership Award, a $500 annually renewable scholarship (up to $2000).
Faith, Science, and Ethics Camp
Students who attend the Faith, Science, and Ethics Campus explore the intersection of faith and science while diving into the ethical issues that define our decades. All camp programs provide opportunities for students to discover how scientists and people of faith are working together to address some of the world’s most pressing problems.
- Interact with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students and experts in science and theology.
- Be challenged academically, spiritually, and ethically and clarify their sense of purpose.
- Develop leadership skills.
- Connect with like-minded and outstanding students from across the church.
- Become a stronger college applicant by participating in a selective program designed for future leaders.
Students who will have completed 9th-12th grade by the June of the camp session.
