System Overview

The Boat International Superyacht Industry Database covers yachts 24 metres and above and includes the current fleet, yachts on order and under construction as well as those no longer in service. Over 9,000 yachts are detailed with up to 125 fields of information. Key information includes; vessel types, current & former names, classification, dimensions, tonnages, capacities, shipyard and construction information, naval architect and designers, engine and mechanical details, refit and rebuild information, special features and ownership data.

The database also keeps up to date information on the world's leading superyacht marinas. This will be augmented by a database of information on local superyacht services in each port, as recommended by captains and crew themselves.

The site forms an administration system for staff to update yacht data and a complete set of public facing web services that the boatinternational.com brokerage site uses to pull yacht data from.
